Anastasia State Park

Anastasia State Park, located in St. Augustine, Florida, is a stunning coastal landscape renowned for its pristine beach and historic lighthouse. The park features over 1,600 acres of unspoiled nature, including white sandy beaches, tidal marshes, and ancient sand dunes. Visitors can enjoy camping, swimming, sunbathing, kayaking, and birdwatching.

The historic St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum can be seen in the distance from the beach. The lighthouse, standing at 165 feet tall, is one of the oldest in the United States and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Intracoastal Waterway, and the city of St. Augustine. Visitors can climb the 219 steps to the top for a stunning vista and explore the museum's exhibits, which detail the maritime history of the region, shipwrecks, and the lives of lighthouse keepers.

Camping is another popular activity at the park, with over 100 campsites available in a wooded area close to the beach. Anastasia State Park also hosts a variety of events throughout the year, such as ranger-led nature walks, educational programs. Just a short drive away is the historic area of St. Augustine that is know as the “Nations Oldest City” founded in 1565.
