Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania once known for its steel mills, has become a hub of education, technology, and the arts.  Often referred to as the "City of Bridges," it is nestled at the confluence of the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio Rivers. The landscape is dominated by an impressive array of bridges (446 in total) that connect the diverse neighborhoods.

A striking architectural marvel in Pittsburgh is the Cathedral of Learning. Located on the University of Pittsburgh's campus. This 42-story Gothic Revival skyscraper stands as the tallest educational building in the Western Hemisphere. Completed in 1937, the Cathedral of Learning is a symbol of Pittsburgh's commitment to education and cultural preservation. Inside, visitors can explore the Nationality Rooms, a series of 31 classrooms designed to reflect the cultural heritage of various ethnic groups that settled in the region. Each room is crafted, to provide a glimpse into the traditions and craftsmanship of different cultures.
